Board Chairman Calls for Similar Rehabilitation Centre

Network of Networks of HIV positives in Ethiopia, NEP+, vice board chairman, Ato Mesfin Feysa, called regional networks’ directors to exert organized effort to establish a similar rehabilitation centre like Adama Mesfin Feysa, initiative rehabilitation centre.
Ato Mesfin Feysa, Adma Tesfa Goh Coordinator and the founder of Adama Mesfin Feysa initiative, rehabilitation centre passed on his call at Hawasa town during the experience field visit.
Ato Mesfin after appreciating the briefing of various HIV/AIDS program implementation that was made by South network manager w/ro Ftuma Jemal, he called all regional networks’ Directors to exert an effort to establish PLHIV’s rehabilitation centre at their regional towns.
Mesfin Feysa initiative rehabilitation centre has given for over four thousand eight hundred PLHIV medical and food staff support and enable them to go back to their normal life, Ato Mesfin said.
Ato Mesfin described the Federal and Regional government bodies’ role during the Adama Mesfin Feysa initiative rehabilitation centre construction. He also revealed the community and NGOs contribution to the rehabilitation centre.
The rehabilitation centre is frequently visited by foreign donors and local governments, Ato Mesfin said, and it is called as “African Model”
Ato Mesfin revealed that he has a plan to enhance the rehabilitation Centre to a Referral Hospital.
